In brief: Wrist pain

Try Ibuprofen 800mg three times a day for 7 days.
If no response, see a hand surgeon or rheumatologist- a cortisone injection may help

If you cannot take Ibuprofen, talk to your primary care doctor to write you oral prednisone for 3-5 days for relief. In the meantime, you can set up an appointment with hand surgeon.
