In brief: Diarrhea

Diarrhea after a salmonella infection can be due to continuing infection(until cultures of stool are negative),antibiotic associated diarrhea(if you were given them), or post infectious irritable bowel syndrome which can last weeks.
Your physician, who knows all your findings, can advise you best.
