Is Propranalol generally ineffective as a combination therapy for migraine along with verapamil? More effective on its own?

Type of migraine... Migraines come in various forms. Migraine with aura usually is effectively treated with a calcium channel blocker like verapamil. Propanol is usually a good first line in the setting of migraine without aura or depression. By the way, auras consist of symptoms prior to the onset of the headache such as visual disturbances (scotomas), nausea, dizziness, or numbness sensations.
Combination Therapy. for the prevention of migraine: Propranalol nortriptyline, and flunarizine. Add Botox to the mix. See a headache specialist for chronic migraine treatment.
