Reconsider diagnosis: If you are still standing and walking on it a lot, you could conceivably still have a stress fracture that has not healed and may need to go to crutches and no weight bearing. But the other possibility is that the initial diagnosis is not correct. There are conditions that have initially been misdiagnosed as a stress fracture before correct diagnosis made.
