Many things. could cause your symptoms including neuropathy, blood clots, vascular insufficiency, arthritis and metabolic abnormalities. You should seek an evaluation by a health care professional who can examine you. This is not diagnosable without an examination. All of these possibilities are treatable but some can be life threatening. Don't wait to be evaluated.
You need evaluation. starting with your Primary Care Provider sand perhaps a vascular physician....Your description sounds like an inflammatory disorder..Polyarteritis Nodosum "rings a bell"! See a physician as soon as practicable! Hope this helps! Dr Z.

Doctor can evaluate. A teen with some pain behind the knee, and a weird-feeling "something" there, may have inflammation there (called a baker cyst). Other problems can occur, so a primary care doctor, a sports medicine doctor, or an orthopedic doctor can evaluate. Often with active teens, knee problems show up when sports training increases, when a new sport is started, or new shoes are used, etc... Read more...

Why at night especially do my shins & calfs get sharp shooting pains, also fron the knee down on both legs swell up. Especially my feet & ankles & stay that way for days?

Two problems. You have swelling, and shooting pains to the lower legs. I would make sure you are not pregnant, don't have varicose veins, are not flat footed (if so wear arch supports), if on any medications - check side effects, type of shoes you've been wearing? The shooting is usually nerve related but the swelling can be causing pressure on the nerves. If persists see a oc. Read more...
Neuropathy/vascular. Shooting pains can be a form of neuropathy or condition affecting peripheral nerves. Swelling could be related to venous circulation in legs where valves in veins are not functioning correctly and consequently fluid accumulates in feet and legs. See a physician for a complete examination. Other systemic causes are possible. Read more...

Painful swelling of mrs. Rajashree mohanty’s legs from knee joints to feet (both legs) the disease started first with cellulitis of left leg about 6to 7?

Question unclear. Bilateral leg swelling can have many causes. Whether prior cellulitis in one extremity played any role is difficult to know, but was unlikely to have been responsible for both legs. Congestive heart failure, lymphatic insufficiencies, venous insufficiency, and other systemic causes are more probable. Read more...

As you stated the swelling itself appears to have been there a while. Read more...
What's the cause ? Cellulitis is basically a visible inflammation (itis) of the skin and soft tissues (red, hot, swollen and tender) . It can be caused by many things including sunburn (radiation), trauma (sprained ankle) or poor vein circulation (stasis dermatitis). It need not be caused by bacteria. If you have repeated episodes of this, get to a wound care or vascular specialist, the diagnoses you have is wrong. Read more...

What could cause painful skin on my leg above my knee? No redness just painful even for a blanket to touch. Same pain was on top right foot 2 weeks ago.

Nerve pain. What you are describing is a type of nerve pain. It would be good to know what other symptoms you are presenting. Depending on the distribution of pain and how it all started we could tell if this is coming from your spine, if this is related to shingles, among other issues. Read more...

Skin bumps. hello, without access to a picture or being able to visualize this lesion, it sounds as thought this could be a flea bite if you have animals or bed bug bite if you recently stayed in a hotel. You can treat both with OTC cortisone cream like cortoderm cream or any anti-histamine cream at all. If it progresses please see a doctor to evaluate..thanks. Read more...
