My resting heart rate is always in the 40's. Right before bed its around 40 to 43. I do go the gym but I'm certainly no athlete. Is this normal?
Its low. But what's more important is if you have symptoms that can be attributed to low heart rates: like fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath with exertion, inability for your heart rate to increase with exercise, lightheadedness/dizziness, having passed out. It also helps to have more health history like an medications or other medical conditions?
