My 11 yo daughter has had swollen tonsils for the past 4 days. No fever, slightly nauseated but not affecting appetite too much. Should she see dr?

In brief: Risk remains

Even strep throat will sometimes feel better after a few days as the body tries to heal itself.
However, if it is strep, the risk of Rheumatic fever, heart, kidney or brain complications starting a month or so later remains. You have about 9-10 days from the start of strep to get it treated and stop complications. Many sore throats are viral, if not this is risky.
