I've had this firm approximately 1cm protruding nodule on the medial lateral side of the elbow, pcp dismissed it but if compressed sends a short pain. Not sure if it's a calcification on a tendon. No conservative treatment. Ibuprofen, moist heat,ice has

if this is the case and the nodule is getting more swollen have the primary care doc try to drain out the serous fluid - and send the fluid to check for gout, inflammatory arthritis, RA. If he doesnt want to do this, have him refer your to an orthopedic doctor who can do this as well.
