An exam in the ER may be limited, but with panic there isn't usually an organic problem damaging memory.
The individual needs to have a full intake with an experienced Psychologist to determine what factors may be relevant, and to determine if further medical evaluation is warranted. If memory of the event is going to return that may occur with effective therapy, but would be careful to not sugges
