In brief: Pull hips to feet

May be sicatica or iliotibial band syndrome if on the side of the hip .
Try motrin if no allergic, ice 10 minute alternate with warm soaks, massage . rest if very active x 2-3 days. Rarely can be clot, or ovarian / pelvic lesion, rarely could be beginnning shingles, Keep hydrated. F/U w/doc can get muscle relaxant and PT referral
