In brief: Get your biopsy

The chances of your dying or becoming seriously sick as a result of a bladder biopsy are far less than from going to get a tooth fixed.
You can die from missing a serious lesion in bladder because you were "too scared to get a biopsy". To be brave, act brave. Everybody gets a biopsy sooner or later. Man up and get on with it.

Agree with Dr. Friedlander. You have to get on with it to find out exactly what treatment you need for the bladder masses. Hopefully all you'll need will be transurethral resection of masses. However more extensive surgery may well be indicated. Good Luck

Thanks for clarifying. We both misunderstood and thought you were more worried about the biopsy. While most bladder lesions in young men are either not dangerous or treatable, there is much greater danger in ignoring the lesion. Be thankful it's been found, and remember that having ANY answer will be better than the anxiety of not yet knowing.
