In brief: Bugs / drugs

Bacteria may develop resistance to antibiotics when they are exposed to non lethal doses over time.
Giving antibiotics when not needed (for example to "prevent" infection) promotes resistance among the exposed bugs. Your body does not become "resistant" to antibiotics. It is the bug that is resistant. One should not stop eating good food for fear of a resistant infection.

In brief: Antibiotics work on

Your body is resistant to Abx.
Abx don't attack or kill human cells (for the most part) . You mean to make bacteria resistant. Over use of Abx whether in animals or by doctors for humans is a bad idea. Every time we make a bacteria resistant to an Abx we have a bug we have to change the way we attack. Ie different or NEW Abx
