I have had repeated cases of boils on my neck over 10 years now. Right in front of my neck. It does not affecr me when swallowing. What could be the cause and how do I treat and prevent it.

Go to a Skin. Specialist called a Dermatologist. The recurrent boils may not just be simple boils. Differential dx include folliculitis, Hidradentitis, Sporotrichosis, Leishmaniasis, Tuleremia, Myiasis, Botryomycosis, Nontuberculous mycobacteria, blastomycosis etc. Check your immune system. Good luck!
