Yes. You can get it as a teen. Tom dooley md got his fatal melanoma in his mid-30's and one of my students in his 20s has a basal cell ca on his face already. Get the thing looked at and treated now. Get it looked at . Try not to worry yourself, but i would recommend that you have a dermatologist take a look at the spot. There are very specific characteristics of a melanoma that a trained dermatologist will be able to pick up on and he/she can order the necessary tests/biopsy. It's important to consider whether you have a family history of skin cancer, what your sun exposure has been, if the spot bleeds, etc. Read more...
