In brief: Hemorrhoids

Avoid constipation by eating a diet high in fibre and using a stool softener if necessary.
There are suppositories you can use to help with healing. A hemorrhoid is like a varicose vein and sometimes surgery is required. See your doctor for ongoing management. All the best.

In brief: Hemorrhoids

hemorrhoids are due to increased pressure in the anal area from straining etc.
So to avoid straining drink 2.5 -3.5 liters o water /gatorade a day , hig hfiber foods, like 1 cup oats ,brown rice ,lentils or barley a day, avocados, strawberries, kale. For the short term discomfort try OTC prep-H or prescription anusol. F/U with doc
