Usually take my birth control at 5 but the last two days I have accidentally taken them at about 6, because of work schedule. Am I protected ?

In brief: Yes

If a woman is protected when taking her pills at 5:00, she has the same protection when taking her pills at 6:00 (an hour later) on other days.
If she is not protected, for OTHER reasons such as missing pills earlier in the pack, then she is still not protected. That means one hour does not make a difference.
