Are water picks better than flossing? I do not like flossing and find it painful even though i have healthy gums. Do water picks get moldy?

In brief: Both are best

If you are having pain when flossing then you need the Dentist or hygienist to observe you flossing and help correct any technique errors.
It should not hurt in the least. Water Pik is excellent addition , and for some better than nothing if they refuse to floss. Keep it clean and dry, allow water to drain from hose. Good Luck.
