Can psychological stress cause pain on the face? MRI of trigeminal nerve shows nothing. I have anxiety and mild depression and some hypochondria.

In brief: Yes...

Health Anxiety/depression affects sensitivity to and perception of pain.
With trigeminal neuralgia pain may be elevated by anxiety that affects muscle tension or neural activity in the jaw and perception/intensity of pain around the trigeminal nerve. There are instances of trigeminal neuralgia without a positive MRI. Combined medication/cognitive behavioral therapy can help manage anxiety/pain.
