What is a baseline hydrogen level to be considered a hydrogen producer on a breath test for SIBO?

In brief: Use caution

I would not accept the results of a hydrogen breath test for small intestinal bacterial overgrowth.
It's not sensitive and it's not specific. If this is a serious consideration and somebody's actually going to make you a chronic SIBO case, insist on a quantitative culture of a jejunal aspirate.
