Let's talk about insomnia. Currently, on clonazepam for anxiety but uncomfortable increasing for sleep aid, also doesn't work well there. Options?
Difficulty falling. asleep is often associated w/anxiety while waking up early and not returning to sleep is associated w/depression. Periodic waking is associated w/overall light sleep. Please see you doc who may order a sleep study. A psychologist can help w/stress management. Peace and good health. Natural treatment includes melatonin supplement but w/professional guidance. Stop all stimulants after noon.

Insomnia. Cognitive Behavioral Treatment for Insomnia is considered the best long term solution for insomnia, but a number of medications can be helpful also. I recommend you talk with your prescribing doctor about using the klonopin (clonazepam) for sleep also, as you will run out sooner and more likely to develop tolerance if taking every day. Don't give up on being able to taper off meds though-it can be done!
