Will a anterior repair of vagina, actually make the vagina bigger? As you are lifting the prolapse?

In brief: No

In an anterior repair the tissue that normally supports the bladder/anterior wall of the vagina is pulled back in to the midline to rebuild the support.
Since tissue that has stretched out is brought in from the sides, it does not make the vagina bigger. If anything, it makes it smaller. Hope this helps.
