Diagnosed with fracture coccyx 2weeks ago.plz advice when will I sit without pain? When could I safely drive my car? Thanks

In brief: This can be short-

-lived or can be a long drawn out problem. First you can drive, use a donut pillow, also ice and NSAIDS if able.
If this fails seak out a pain clinic 4 an injection, if 100% gone 4 a while, but returns, you need to find a surgeon with experience in coccyx resection. I somehow became that surgeon in my city. Excised about 25+ all better same day, happy & no return. Simple rectal xam makes the Dx 2.

Unfortunately, these fractures are quite painful and heal slowly.
I suggest the use of a rubber ring when sitting and consult your PCP for pain relief. If not allergic, I recommend Advil or Aleve (naproxen) as directed.
