In brief: Myasthenia gravis?

Osteoporosis (blood Ca does not correlate) is typically a result of both: (a) limited activity combined with (b) poor calcium absorption & deposition into bones to solidify them. (b) is very dependent of vitamin D3 concentration.
Yet D deficiency is the 1 common vit. deficiency in the US (healthy upper normal in the 70-80 ng/ml range by blood test) & most vit D supplements are poorly effective.

At any given time, 99.9% is calcium is within bones. Calcium concentration within blood is a tiny fraction of body calcium & is crucially important in many other physiologic functions including blood clotting nerve conduction muscle contraction, etc.. It is tightly regulated via parathyroid hormone, etc. High blood calcium correlates with osteoporosis (calcium coming out of bones).
