In brief: Blurry vision

Dear Noelle: Headaches with blurry vision make me wonder about inflammation in your eyes (like Uveitis).
Eye diseases can present with headaches. But there are many other possible diagnoses too so see your provider. Your doctor may also have you see a neurologist. Best of luck! Nisha

In brief: See answer

Although several types of headaches are more common in the morning, "awakening headaches" suggest a sleep disorder may be the cause.
Sleep apnea can cause this type of headache. Insomnia can also cause this. Dark vision on standing is due to transient low blood pressure(orthostatic hypotension). If this happens frequently later in the day see your physician to see if low BP is the cause.

I concur with Dr. Lipkin. There are several etiologies of headaches and visual blurriness - some of which are postural related such as low blood pressure. In young people (20 y old), inflammatory conditions should be considered. Thank you
