I have inner ear pain that seems to extend down the back of my throat. how can I treat this? Advil (ibuprofen) and alevehave not helped

In brief: It sounds like

you r having pain from an inflamed Eustation tube.
A decongestant ,like Sudafed( not if u have high blood pressure or Cardiac Dz)may reduce the pressure by its drying effect.If suffering from an ear infection,it may require antibiotics.Some would suggest high dose Mucinex will improve drainage.If u have a history of Hay Fever,add an Antihistamine.For pain,alternate Tylenol (acetaminophen) with Advil every 4 hrs
