I have controlled hypertension, no thyroid issues, take meds regularly and consistently but my resting heart rate is  95-130. Why?

Little too fast. Resting hr of 95-130 is a little too fast. Since you are on BP med, i assume work-up including ekg was done. Some people do have faster resting hr than others, but yours is a bit high, at times no cause is found. Make sure you don't consume much caffeine/decongestants etc.. Arrhythmia. You may have some form of underlying arrhythmia, even something called inappropriate sinus tachycardia. You need workup to elucidate the exact nature and cause of this. My resting heart rate is about 60bpm but I can feel the pumping in my ears, neck, shoulders and back. Is this normal as an athlete?
