How mg of sodium can help keep your levels up on 200 mg spirolactone? I sodium is low, but not want to have TOO much sodium to mess with my hkpp.

Hyponatremia. Your measured sodium in the blood is a "water problem(excessive)", the reasons needs to be determined. decreasing the water/fluid is the key. Depending on the sodium value, would see a Kidney doc, and a urine and blood test are needed. Aldactone (spironolactone) can cause low sodium in the blood. But key is measured sodium is a water problem and not a salt issue. Hope this helps. best to talk to your MD.
