I burnt my hand on Saturday. I started having blisters on Wednesday. Is this normal? What should I do next?

Second degree burn. Do not break the blisters, just let them flatten and dry up on their own. Keep them covered with a clean non-stick dressing. If the area of the blisters open up,provided you are not allergic to sulfa, use a light cover of Silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) cream but do not cover the area if Silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) is used. Kepp the area dry and clean as mentioned before. When dried up and scabbed over treat like any other healing sore.
HAND BURNS. HAND BURNS FOLLOWED BY BLISTERS. HOW DO YOU PUT OUT A FIRE? ANSWER: WITH WATER! IF THE BLISTERS ARE STILL THERE, SOAKING THEM WITH LUKEWARM WATER FOR TEN TO FIFTEEN MINUTES SEVERAL TIMES A DAY MIGHT HELP. THEN ZINC OXIDE OINTMENT AT BEDTIME COVERED BY A COTTON GLOVE WILL BE A GOOD IDEA. SEE YOUR FAMILY PHYSICIAN IF IT STILL BOTHERS YOU.
