I have lattice degen in my R eye. When I have eye pain that hurts to keep open, I get worried retina is detached. Eye dr says nothing is wrong. Signs?

Dr.Fishburn has given a great answer...Re: your Lattice degeneration of the retina--this retinal problem should be examined with dilated exams at least yearly.Symptoms of new,progressive problems might be increased floaters, flashes , or partial blockage of your side vision.Those symptoms need a new eye exam ASAP.Keep us posted.Dr.Sibley.
