Painful spot in upper left abdominal muscle, along with chest discomfort & lots of gas. Possible hernia from childbirth?

Hiatal hernia? There are no congenital abdominal wall hernias in the left upper abdominal wall (front muscles). A hiatal hernia could be the cause, but only if large. These are also called paraesophageal hernias, and can be diagnosed with an upper GI contrast study. Sometimes need upper endoscopy too. Hope this helps!
