1 doctor agrees

In brief: Communicable?

HelloYUser 177 ~ it depends what disease you are talking about.
If the disease has a so-called chronic carrier phase the answer is YES. eg; chronic hep B, with surface Antigen +ve, typhoid, chronic carriage on N.meningitidis in naso-pharynx, but treating pneumonia with antibiotics cures the pneumonia and there is no carried state. OK? thanks
