Walking or jogging are easy & safe. For foods try figs one or two daily, oat cereals like Cheerios, yogurt like Activia daily and foods high in bran & roughage . When in doubt go to the internet & remember when nature calls answer the call ASAP. It would also be OK to start Senokot-D as an example.

Water intake and activity are essential in this setting. Some tasty snacks that are helpful include Sunmaid® Mission figs, dried California apricots and prunes. Agree with bran and considering Senokot-D as well.
