Interested in doctors Thoughts Re: essyltstein or ornish diets on reversing heart disese? Trying 2 lose weight w/minor heart defect, does it work?
Speak with you. The Ornish diet is to help patients who have severely calcified aortic arteries and heart disease avoid bypass surgery by changing their diet to a no fat diet. Atkins diet is meat/ vegetable based and no carbs. For minor heart defect, you're better off speaking to your doctor or cardiologist about which diet may be better. You can always get a second opinion from an integrative medicine doctor too.
