Can I treat minor puncture wound myself? It has gotten swollen and red. Do not want to see doc cuz I've been there 10 times this year. Please help?

Puncture wound. If the wound is swollen & red, you may need antibiotics. Such a wound can lead to skin infections & prolonged symptoms. If you have not received a tetanus vaccination within the last 10 years, you will need that as well. Seeing your doc should not be to troublesome & save you grief down the road. Meanwhile, keep the wound clean with soap & water. Apply Neosporin to cut down on infection & see doc.
