Last night coughed up pink mucous. Peak flow 400 yestrdy 600 today I am on singulair (montelukast). Can't use advair. Lungs very reactiv pk flw up and dwn worry?

Mgt. Xopenex (levalbuterol) is one option as a bronchodilator and has fewer cardiac side effects. I would advise an evaluation. The pink tinge in your sputum should be further evaluated. It may be related to uncontrolled infection and inflammation. You may need a course of prednisone, and a follow up appointment is indicated.
