Stds aside, can one get an infection from anal sex without a condom?

Yes. Std's, or sexually transmitted disease, are by definition an infection you acquire through sexual activity (like unprotected anal sex). There are many possible std's that could be transmitted this way, including hiv, gonorrhea, and more. If you have had unprotected sexual activity or have a new partner, make a doctor's appointment and get tested right away.

STDs are infections. No. You cannot get an infection out of thin air. Just because you have a sexual encounter you do not get infected with magic. If both partners are std free then there is no possible way to get an std from that encounter. Read more...

Let . Let keep several things in mind. Anal sex...Vs vaginal is by its nature a more "friction producing" for of sex. I like your train of though...Its very logical. Likely what has happened is the frenulum (on the underside of the penis) was stretched upon insertion into her anus. You didnt say whether or not lubricant was used...But if it wasn't...All the more wear and tear on the skin. The frenulum is more susceptible to injury since it comes to a narrow attachment on the underside of the penis at the base of the glans penis (head). My guess is you have a micro tear or abrasion injury. Now...You mentioned "little bumps". If you look very closely...Most males have what i call micropapules circumscribine the glans penis (head). If you've never really looked close my guess is you never noticed it. Now....In the absence of any other skin "lesion"....You should have little to worry about. Use vasoline on the area...It will help coat the skin defect and thus cause less "stinging". Btw...Leave it alone...Don't go stretching it unnecessarily "looking for something"! Read more...

STDs are possible. Receiving anal sex does risk STDs of anus and rectum, especially gonorrhea, chlamydia, herpes, and syphilis. The same precautions are necessary as for vaginal sex: uninfected partner, condoms, etc. Non-STD problems include anal fissures and trauma with bleeding. The main symptoms of all these (STD and other) are discharge or mucus from anus or on stool, pain, and sometimes bleeding. Read more...
