Diagnosed with elbow tendinitis and have clicking when extending. MRI w/o contrast came back normal. Can a MRI w/o contrast find loose body in elbow?

In brief: Consider arthrogram

Loose bodies are not the only source of clicking in the elbow, but are a consideration.
They are hard to detect in the elbow on an MRI sometimes, and giving IV contrast is not helpful. An arthrogram, in which contrast is injected into the elbow joint itself and then followed by either a CT scan or MRI scan is usually the test if choice for loose bodies.
