In brief: Yes

Although very uncommon, there are instances of Flu shots causing an autoimmune reaction like polyneuritis but recovery is often seen after some weeks or months.
Considering the millions of people getting flu shots, such complications are quite rare.

Flu vaccine has been rarely reported being associated with so-call Guillain-Barre's syndrome affecting nerves outside brain resulting in weakness, triedness, tinglings, etc. through autoimmune response.

In brief: Guillain Barre

There is a risk of Guillain Barre syndrome.
One additional case per million in society is attributable to the flu shot (2/million compared to 1/million in those who don't get the flu shot). We consider that an acceptable risk for people who need the shot, but that's why we prefer to vaccinate only people for whom it's medically necessary.
