Can a colonoscopy and endoscopy find a hernia? And if so what will the doc do if he does find one or any other type of seriously immediate problem?

In brief: NO

Huge abdominal hernias , visible hernias scope could enter , but not the way to diagnose hernia .
How ever laparoscopy will detect hernias . Speak to you doctor

In brief: Here are some ...

The occurrence of hernia here or there is common, but is usually suspected & verified by history and physical exam with inspection & skillful palpation.
In practice, there is no position to use costly endoscopy/ colonoscopy at all. In fact, colonoscopy should not see any hernia but possible diverticuli. For managing intractable abdominal pain (possibly related with internal hernia), ask Doc timely
