A person usually has to do a blood test in order to find out her ABO/Rh blood type.
Any lab can do the test, but it requires a doctor's order, and may or may not be covered by insurance. The other way for a healthy person to learn her blood type is to donate blood (the blood center will find out the blood type). People who have an IDENTICAL twin can just ask what the twin's blood type is.
