In brief: Redness

If you are allergic to acrylic, the typical effects are the same as contact with any allergic material--redness, burning inflammation.
However, dentures can be made from special materials if you are truly allergic to acrylic. Ask your prosthodontist.

In brief: Typical

Same types of response you would expect being allergic to something on your skin, pain, redness, itchiness perhaps swelling relieved by taking the dentures of you mouth.

In brief: Maybe not

99% of the time that a patient thinks they are allergic to acrylic dentures, they are not correct.
Denture acrylic is a mixture of powder (polymer) and liquid (monomer). What they are allergic to is the monomer that remains in the denture rather than being fully used or completely processed out. Labs do it cheaper by not doing an "overnight process". Have the dentist demand "overnight process".
