Age32, frmr smoker. Have shortness of breath& pain breathing in. Focal airspace disease on chest xray. No cough/fever. No response 2 antibiotcs. WWYD?

ConsultPulmonologist. You need to consult a Pulmonologist.It is very likely that your shortness of breath is due to infection and Antibiotics will not help.You need Pulmonary Function Test and may need further imaging like Cat Scan.Do not Smoke Good luck.

Need more detail. Unlikely TB, would have shown up on the xray. Could be inflammation of the bronchioles/airway. Don't think it's anything dangerous like cancer or bacterial infection.
