Some of my lupus symptoms (joint pain, fatigue) seem to be worse during my period. I've also had worse pms cramps since getting SLE. Is this normal?

How annoying for you. Nonspecific symptoms like joint pain and fatigue can vary with sleep, diet, exercise and certainly your period. Talk to your rheumatologist who can evaluate you to be sure these are not related to your lupus and that you are taking your medications, wearing sunscreen etc. Knowing that your lupus is in good control will help you manage your symptoms.
