3 doctors agree

In brief: Many

You need a physical exam. Answers to age, any injury or activity, changes in extremity sensation or motor function.
Many things can cause back pain such as sprain or strain, herniated disc, kidney stones, and even cancer. So your doctor will take a history and do an exam then decide if you need x-rays or an MRI and get to the bottom of what is wrong.

Yes, find the cause then treat. You do need specialist help to properly diagnose. DO not mask the pain with pills, please.

In brief: Back pain

The back pain can be caused by muscle strain, spinal stenosis, ruptured disc, nerve impingement .
.. The treatment depends on the cause of the pain. If your pain persists, you should seek help from a health care provider. You might benefit from a comprehensive evaluation and treatment.
