Cold or allergies? Stuffy nose, on and off itchy eyes, nose. After three days, now itchy throat. No fever. Did take sudafed, mild help, now zyrtec (cetirizine) but itchy throat may be the side effect.

In brief: Allergy

A cold is not linked to itching throat or itchy eyes.
If the throat itches despite Zyrtec (cetirizine), (cetirizine) the allergen load may exceed what Zyrtec (cetirizine) can do for you or you are ingesting foods (especially fruits) you are allergic to. If the problem is intolerable, it is time to consult an allergist.

and formal allergy testing.
I think Zyrtec is an excellent choice and you may need prescription medicine for allergic eyes and a cortisone based nasal spray to control your symptoms. You should get allergy testing.
