In brief: Possible cycle

If you had a hysterectomy where the uterus and cervix were removed, then you cannot have a period.
If your cervix was left in place, there is a 20-30% chance you will have a period because the inner lining of the uterus that causes a period extends into the cervix.

Great response!

In brief: Yes

If you are having regular periods before your uterus is removed and if the ovaries are not removed, the ovaries will continue to ovulate and make hormones in a cyclic fashion just as they did before.
Interestingly, many women experience fewer pms symptoms after a hysterectomy.
