Given your age and your likely lack of other symptoms, your headaches are almost certainly migraines.
I would suspect that you are taking something like Ibuprofen or excedrin which has put you into a rebound/medication overuse cycle. You should see a neurologist who can get you on the right meds; you need to be on a good preventative agent as well as a good acute agent (ie a triptan ie imitrex).
