In brief: Placenta

does!not move but what to do about it depends on how close it is to the cervix.

In brief: Synonyms

Low lying/ Marginal and partial previa are all basically synonyms describing the same thing -- the placenta is partially or close to obstructing the pathway of the baby out of the cervix.
The placenta does not actually move but rather the uterus gets bigger and previas may no longer be present at later gestation. Typically serial ultrasounds are done to monitor for this.
