In brief: Node biopsy possibly

A persistent swollen isolated node for seven months may be related to a number of causes.
I would suggest a visit with your PCP. Sometimes infections and drainage to the affected lymph node is the underlying cause rather than malignancy. If the node needs to be biopsied then a surgical referral can be made. Small moveable nodes tend to be benign. Tissue diagnosis is usually quite definitive.
