Is it true that stage 1 breast cancer patients with no lymph node involvement recommended to take chemo?

It Depends. Typically it depends on the receptor status (estrogen/progesterone/her2) and the size of the tumor. Tumors greater than a centimeter are generally prescribed chemotherapy, although er/pr+ patients may just get hormonal therapy. The oncotype assay is sometimes used to decide on equivocal cases on when to give chemo. You might want to ask your doctors if this is right for you.
